What can you see?

An evening shopping district along Chang Khlan Road

Shops selling clothing, traditional crafts and souvenirs line Chang Khlan Road. Nearby hotels, cafés and restaurants give you places to eat before or after browsing.

Wua Lai on Saturday and Ratchadamnoen on Sunday are walking-street markets that take place on set days. Chang Khlan is open every evening, so the day you can visit depends on which Chiang Mai night market you have in mind.

An evening to browse crafts and clothing

Traditional crafts, clothing and souvenirs are at the centre of the shopping area. Some sellers also go to other weekend markets, but you should not assume that the same stalls and products from Chang Khlan will be available there.

If you want a meal after browsing, head to a restaurant around Chang Khlan or towards the food area at Anusarn Market. Anusarn, with its food area, is a neighbouring market distinct from the Night Bazaar.

Continue your walk to Anusarn Market

Anusarn Market has an area selling food. The Tourism Authority says you can continue about 100 metres farther to shop at Kalare Night Bazaar. You can visit Chang Khlan’s Night Bazaar, Anusarn and Kalare in one walk, but they are separate places.

The approximate 16:00–23:30 hours listed for the Chang Khlan shopping area are not shared opening hours for every nearby market or restaurant. If you have a particular restaurant in mind, follow its own opening hours.
