Underwater World Pattayaอันเดอร์วอเตอร์ เวิลด์ พัทยา

Pattaya · Aquarium with an underwater tunnel and freshwater and marine exhibits

Underwater World Pattaya’s approximately 105-meter transparent tunnel passes from the coral reef through the shark-and-ray Open Ocean to a zone for large Thai freshwater fish. It is an indoor visit on Sukhumvit Road, separate from sightseeing on Pattaya Beach.

Outside the tunnel, there are a touch pool, Magic Tank, reptile and otter exhibits. Diver feeding sessions are viewing programs; activities where visitors feed animals themselves are separate.

What can you see?

A tunnel from coral reef to sharks and giant freshwater fish

The approximately 105-meter transparent tunnel is divided into different themed zones: Coral Reef, Open Ocean and Giant of Siam. The reef area features colorful tropical fish, while Open Ocean highlights blacktip reef sharks, jacks and large groupers.

After the marine exhibits, Giant of Siam presents large freshwater fish in a shipwreck-themed setting. With children, compare the sharks you saw earlier with the big freshwater fish here. The tunnel takes you through displays of both sea and river life.

The touch pool and Magic Tank offer different experiences

The touch pool recreates rocky pools on the Thai coast, where visitors can encounter marine life. Magic Tank is presented as a separate interactive tank. Beyond the tunnel, there are also reptile and otter exhibits, so the aquarium is more than one long passage.

Take part in hands-on contact only in the designated pool and follow staff instructions. General display tanks are not for touching or adding food. If visiting with young children, read the signs at each tank first and choose an activity that is allowed there.

Diver feeding sessions and visitor feeding are different activities

You can watch feeding sessions in the Coral Reef, Open Ocean and Giant of Siam tanks. Divers feed animals in each of these separate tanks, so choose the session for the exhibit you want to see. Explore the aquarium freely and go to the relevant tank for its start time.

Visitors can also feed fish and turtles themselves as a separate activity. This differs from watching divers feed animals inside the tanks. Touch-pool and feeding experiences are available only in designated areas with staff guidance; check whether the activity and its fee are included in your ticket, separately from general admission.

Before you visit

Take part in activities only in designated areas

For animal contact or feeding, follow staff guidance in areas where the activity is permitted. Do not treat regular exhibit tanks as activity areas.
