Using GrabFood in Thailand
GrabFood Thailand offers food and drink delivery as well as restaurant pickup. The restaurants you can order from depend on your chosen delivery location.
How to get food delivered to your hotel
Check the address and map pin
Make sure the hotel name, address and map pin match, then ask reception where to collect your order.
Choose your meal and order type
Select your food and options, and check whether you are ordering delivery or restaurant pickup.
Check the total and payment method
Check the final total, including food and delivery fees, before choosing a payment method.
Collect at the agreed location
Follow the instructions in the app and go to the collection point. Have the amount ready if you are paying cash.
Delivery fees and payment methods
GrabFood’s official FAQ distinguishes food prices from delivery fees, which are calculated according to the distance between the restaurant and delivery location. Check the final amount on the order screen.
Cash, credit cards, debit cards and GrabPay are listed as payment methods. Check which ones your account can actually use. If you plan to pay cash with a large banknote, tell the rider through the app’s chat.
Ordering late at night
The service’s operating hours and individual restaurant opening hours are different. Closed restaurants cannot accept orders in the app, so check which places can deliver to your current location and their estimated delivery times.
Order enquiries and refunds
Keep your order history and contact support through the relevant order. Cancellation and refund conditions depend on the service and the status of the order.
