Staying at Loh Dalum on Phi Phi Don and taking a boat to Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh involve different journeys. Separate your accommodation plans from a national park visit.

Select a pin for its location and visiting guide.
Pins represent a beach, bay or village. Read the list below for access and swimming conditions; a pin does not mark an entrance, car park or swimming zone.
Visit Maya Bay on Phi Phi Leh for white sand enclosed by tall limestone cliffs. Walk beside the bay and take in the sea and rock scenery with friends or your partner. Plan a boat visit to a national park shore where you enjoy the scenery without swimming.
Maya Bay is on Phi Phi Leh and requires a boat. It has seasonal closures and controlled access for natural recovery, and reopened on 1 October 2026. Ask whether landing at Maya Bay is allowed on your visit date when booking.
If you are staying on Phi Phi Don, take a break beside Loh Dalum’s north-facing bay. It offers a different shore from Tonsai. Come with friends or your partner for a beach walk during a stay on the island. On days without a boat trip elsewhere, relax with a view of the bay.
Take a boat to Phi Phi Don, then continue across the island to Loh Dalum. Tonsai Pier and Loh Dalum are in different bays.
For mainland beaches, choose your actual drop-off and the route to the shore. For islands and beaches reached by boat, arrange the arrival pier and return journey too. Include the town or island name in searches, as different places can share a beach name.
Do not swim while a red flag is flying.
Do not swim while red flags are flying. Read the marine forecast before leaving and follow local swimming instructions after arrival. Waves and weather may delay or cancel boat trips, so ask about bad-weather conditions when booking.
